UN Test

(Make up test is next Wednesday at lunch)

Starter #9:

What do you know about North Korea? Location, history, food, people, etc?

North Korea Lecture:

Take notes – some content will be on the issue quiz (use content for in-class writing)

Issue Briefs from the Chairs

-          Read and annotate

Section 1: Emily V., George    Section 2: Claire, Levi

North Korea Map:

        Fill out the map with the countries and then color the map. Save it to use to study for your quiz.

Timeline activity:

With the three events you were given:

1.       Research each event and make sure you fully understand it

2.       Difficulty journal (don’t do one, just remember the ideas from it)– what will you do if you encounter challenging words or ideas.

3.       For each event – create a notecard that includes – the date, what happened and a symbol.

4.       Put your notecards on the time line in order (I should help facilitate this with a master copy of the timeline)

Make sure all of it is easy to read, and professionally finished (in color). USE MARKDERS

Placards are DUE Wednesday at the start of class.
