Starter #25:
Israel/ Palestine Complex Concessives (15 min)
In pairs:
·         Read the sheet I handed to you
·         Generate a concessive statement that incorporates both ideas into one statement
·         In word put: both your names, the number at the top of the page, and your concessive statement.
·         Details, details: give specifics from what you read

SLC Prep:
DUE: Note cards for strength and improvement
Prompt: Discuss which HOHAM or 21st century survival skill will help you improve. (think about what you said.
                Freewrite on the questions below:
1.       Based on your area for improvement, what skill will you need in order to improve?
2.       Specifically, how will this skill help you improve?
3.       What evidence can you present to show this is true?
Generate a TEA format note card with these details.

Prompt: Describes your SMART goal and how it has evolved.
                Answer the following questions:
1.       Think back to you POL, what were the specifics of your action plan (SMART goal)?
2.       Have you used your action plan? If not why?
3.       What is a realistic action plan?
4.       Generate a specific action plan for the remainder of the semester. Make sure it is specific and addresses the areas you need to improve in. (Give details…who, when, where, how you will reach this goal)

Have all of your evidence for humanities gathered…in hand! Print stuff out if you need to and highlight or star key points you plan to make.
At the start of class tomorrow you must have all four of your humanities note cards, the note cards from your other classes and all of your evidence. We will spend tomorrow doing full run throughs of your SLC
