EXHIBITION DAY!

Section 1:

                Speech Critiques: (45 mins)
1.       Get in your docket coaching groups
2.       Feedback – timer, what was strong, what they need to work on
3.       Give verbal feedback
4.       Refine the speech
5.       Speech on note cards
6.       Speech Practice – in partners

Manila folders:
                Have all of the needed documents in there
Chairs run MOTIONS example - 2 for and 2 against
Conference Rubric

Map Activity:
                Use highlighters and locate:
a.       The Trolley stop
b.      The nature trail
c.       Noble hall
d.      The parking lot
e.      Two ways to get up to the college

Planner time:
When do you need to be there?
What should you do once you are there?
What room are you in? Section 1: 125, Section 2: 130
Professional Dress!!
YOU must bring your placard - no placard no vote!

Section 2:

Entire class – no ums, likes, or and’s.

How to give a good speech, what to think about.

What to put in your manila folder:
                Give out the remaining documents
Go over the conference rubric:
                Amendment writing – do’s and don’ts
